This policy explains how XemmeX Technologies, owner and operator of XemmeX Network, collects, uses, discloses, preserves and protects the personal information of site visitors and users.
1. Scope of policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the website https://xemex.net , its pages, forms and digital services.
It also applies to communications transmitted to XemmeX Technologies via email, web form or XemmeX Network functionality.
This policy is established in accordance with the Private Sector Privacy Act of Quebec, as amended by Act 25, as well as other applicable laws.

3. Definition of personal information
Personal information is information that relates to a natural person and allows, directly or indirectly, identification of the individual.
Information that is irreversibly aggregated and anonymized so that it no longer identifies an individual is generally no longer considered personal information, subject to applicable laws.

The information collected depends on how you use the site.

11. Treatment or accommodation outside Quebec
Some technology providers may process or retain personal information outside Quebec or Canada.
Prior to disclosure of personal information outside Quebec, XemmeX Technologies assesses the relevant factors, including the sensitivity of the information, the purpose of its use, the applicable safeguards and the legal regime of the territory concerned.
Where XemmeX Technologies considers that the information will benefit from adequate protection, its disclosure shall be governed by a written agreement or other appropriate measures.
12. Retention of information
XemmeX Technologies keeps personal information only for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for the fulfilment of its legal, fiscal, accounting, contractual and security obligations.
The shelf life may depend in particular on:

XemmeX Technologies uses reasonable security measures commensurate with the sensitivity of the information, including:

- limiting access according to responsibilities;
- protection of administrative accounts;
- appropriate backups and recovery procedures;
- monitoring of technical and security events;
- updating software systems and components;

Despite these measures, no computer system can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their devices, passwords and authentication information.
14. Confidentiality incidents
XemmeX Technologies maintains a confidentiality incident management process and maintains a record in accordance with applicable requirements.
When an incident presents a risk of serious harm, XemmeX Technologies shall take reasonable measures to reduce the risk and shall notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and the persons concerned when required by law.
15. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by law, you may request:
- whether XemmeX Technologies has any personal information about you;
- access personal information held about you;
- correct inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information;
- remove information collected or retained contrary to the law;
- withdraw your consent when the treatment is based on it;
- stopping the dissemination of information when legal conditions are met;
- request the deindexation of a link associated with your name where permitted by law;
- obtain certain computerized personal information in a structured and commonly used technology format where the right to portability applies;
- obtain information on the use of automated decision-making systems, where appropriate;
- to file a complaint regarding the management of your personal information.
A request must be made in writing to the Privacy Officer. XemmeX Technologies may request the information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before processing the application.
XemmeX Technologies will respond within the time allowed by law. If an application is refused in whole or in part, the grounds for refusal and available remedies will be disclosed when required by law.
16. Newsletters and commercial communications
XemmeX Technologies may transmit a newsletter, publications, news or offers to persons who have consented to receive them or when the law otherwise authorizes the sending.
You can unsubscribe by using the link provided in each commercial communication or by contacting XemmeX Technologies.
Withdrawal of consent to promotional communications shall not prevent the sending of communications necessary for a transaction, account management, security or compliance with a legal obligation.
17. Protection of information concerning minors
XemmeX Network is aimed primarily at businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals. The site is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14 without the consent of the parental authority holder or guardian where consent is required.

The complaint will be considered confidentially. XemmeX Technologies will be able to contact you to obtain the information necessary for its analysis and inform you of the result within a reasonable time.
If you are dissatisfied with the processing of your request or complaint, you may contact the Access to Information Commission of Quebec .
20. Policy change
XemmeX Technologies may amend this policy to reflect changes to the site, its practices, suppliers or applicable laws.
The updated version will be published on this page with the new update date.
Where the changes are significant, a notice will be published on the site or sent to the persons concerned by an appropriate means. When required by law, new consent will be obtained.
